Our Story
Racehorse Trader
Horse Trader began life as Racehorse Trader, the brainchild of its founder, a passionate racehorse owner and breeder who saw a clear gap in the market for a dedicated classified-style platform where owners and trainers could advertise racehorses in and out of training, offer shares in horses, and promote syndicates and racing clubs. The vision was to create a user-friendly, central hub for the racing community — and that vision quickly took root.
Horse Trader
The next chapter brought a fresh perspective and the addition of several new categories, expanding the platform beyond racing to serve the wider equestrian community. These new sections — including sport horses and ponies, horseboxes, machinery, job listings, and equestrian properties — transformed Horse Trader into a truly all-encompassing equestrian marketplace.
The Store
With the platform flourishing, the founders drew on their entrepreneurial expertise to introduce an exciting new venture:
The Horse Trader Store.
With a foundation in the fashion industry and first-hand experience across a range of equestrian disciplines, the team have carefully selected a collection of equestrian clothing and trusted horse apparel brands, all underpinned by a strong commitment to quality.
Emphasis is placed on beautifully presented, high-quality products and fast, reliable delivery — all designed to provide an outstanding customer experience in a fast-moving retail landscape.
Our Vision
As Horse Trader continues to grow, the team remains focused on expanding each category with high-quality offerings, aiming to create a one-stop destination where the equestrian community can buy, sell, and connect — bringing all things equestrian together under one roof.
