The Kentucky Air Tech Eventing Boots are exceptionally strong and shock-absorbing, offering superior protection and comfort for your horse during cross-country. Engineered with five distinct layers, these boots are designed to deliver optimal performance under the most demanding conditions.

The innermost layer features a breathable, knitted lining that feels soft against the horse’s skin, helping to prevent rubbing and irritation. This lining also provides grip, ensuring the boots stay securely in place without slipping or rotating.

The second layer consists of 5mm EVA foam—an ultra-lightweight, shock-absorbing material that adds stability to both the boot and the horse’s leg. Perforated with ventilation holes, this foam allows heat to escape, preventing the legs from overheating during strenuous activity.

Next is a 2mm TPU hard shell, strategically placed to absorb major impacts and protect against penetration from horseshoes or studs. An additional 5mm EVA foam layer is added to the front of the hind boots for extra cushioning when the horse brushes against jumps.

The outermost layer is crafted from perforated synthetic leather, which is highly breathable thanks to its fine ventilation holes. This material doesn’t retain water, ensuring the boots stay lightweight—even in wet conditions—helping to enhance the horse’s comfort and performance over long, challenging courses.

A reinforced seam around the fetlock ensures a snug fit, preventing the boots from slipping or rotating during use. They are secured with heavy-duty Velcro fastenings for reliable closure. (Pro tip: Wrapping tape over the Velcro straps can help extend the life of the fastening.)

The Air Tech Eventing Boots are machine washable at 30°C. Be sure to close the Velcro before washing or use a laundry bag to protect them. Do not tumble dry.
