Kentucky Magnetic Rug
One of the original and most popular products in the Kentucky Horsewear collection was the Magnetic Stable Boots Recuptex. Due to their outstanding success and high customer satisfaction, we expanded the range with the Magnetic Rug Recuptex—a natural progression in equine recovery technology.
This rug incorporates the same cutting-edge Recuptex fabric technology, based on Bekaert BEKINOX®, which includes ultra-fine stainless-steel (inox) fibers woven directly into the material. These fibers create a Faraday cage effect that reflects the horse’s own magnetic fields, helping to stimulate blood circulation and increase oxygen flow. The result is a natural, supportive environment that promotes muscle relaxation and accelerates recovery.
The rug is made from durable mesh fabric, making it suitable for year-round use—either on its own during warmer months or layered with other rugs in colder conditions. It’s particularly effective before and after exercise to ease muscle tension and can comfortably be left on overnight.
We recommend beginning with one hour of use per day, then gradually increasing the time over the following days to allow the horse to adjust to the mild tingling sensation the fabric may cause.
Care Instructions: Machine washable at 30°C. Do not tumble dry.
