The Waterproof Combo Fly Rug Classic offers reliable protection for your horse against both rain and flies. Ideal for wet yet warm days from spring through fall, this rug combines functionality with comfort, thanks to its breathable design that ensures your horse stays cool and dry in changing weather conditions.
Materials & Construction
The top section of the rug is crafted from our durable 600D ripstop polyester, a waterproof material with a 10,000mm water column rating to keep your horse dry. This section is lined with smooth, anti-bacterial polyester for added comfort and hygiene. The sides feature a lightweight mesh fabric that shields your horse from flies and other insects while allowing for maximum airflow. Both fabrics offer UV protection, making the rug suitable for sunny days as well.
Fit & Features
Designed for an anatomical fit, the rug features two front closures and two surcingles in the signature Kentucky Horsewear style. It includes a detachable neck cover secured by two strong hook-and-loop fasteners. These fasteners are located inside the neck section to prevent water from seeping in, ensuring your horse stays protected even in heavy rain.
Care Instructions
The Waterproof Combo Fly Rug Classic is machine washable at 30°C. After washing, allow the rug to air dry completely before using it again.
